In August 2010, Vortx celebrated its acquisition of AspDotNetStorefront. We have worked hard and strategically to take ownership of a leading shopping cart that serves both retailers and developers.
This major move means that we can make conscious decisions about the direction of our development efforts, and we are choosing, for good reason, to focus on innovation and quality on a product (research and development) basis.
We are not, at all, abandoning our commitment to custom work. Rather, we are taking it further than ever before - we plan to look after more clients than ever. "More clients" means that we can more effectively understand the world of online retailers more accurately, and therefore serve them better in terms of product upgrades. We love the idea of the "win-win."
We have finite resources, of course. A significant number of people work here for us, but there are somehow never enough. And alongside our own resource needs, we also found that as owners of the cart, we are besieged with requests for custom help.
Our solution? Partnership.
