Senior Sales Representative, e-commerce software
Celebrating our 20th year in business, Vortx Inc., maker of the popular AspDotNetStorefront
shopping cart platform, is seeking a senior sales representative to engage prospective
customers through short sales cycles.
Vortx is all about e-commerce. It’s what we do. We enable online merchants by building
and offering a comprehensive set of web-based software and services to those who
want to effectively find, reach, and sell to their online customers. Our AspDotNetStorefront
shopping cart platform is used by some 12,000 online merchants from around the world,
and is second to none in features, customizability, and versatility. Our service
departments extend cart features to meet custom whole-systems integration requirements,
merchant branding and personalization needs, search engine optimization, site hosting,
and more. Our deep trench of development and solution provider networks enables
our customers to find even more specialized help when they need it.
In this role, you will focus your efforts on selling the AspDotNetStorefront shopping
cart platform and several of our other off-the-shelf e-commerce software products
to new and existing online merchants.
Ideal candidates will have a strong and demonstrable B2B sales record, selling off-the-shelf,
“packaged” software products, and have:
- Absolutely outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- At least five years recent and relevant sales experience
- A passion for customer service and a “can-do” approach
- Very high ethical standards, constantly seeking win/win solutions
- Proficiency with common end-user software tools and the “ways of the web”
- A team-oriented approach
- A savvy sense of humor
This position is based in Ashland, Oregon, though telecommuting may be considered
for the right candidate.
