Dana Greaves

Dana Greaves, Founder and CEO

Dana founded the company in 1991, delivering custom software solutions to business and government organizations in the United States and abroad. 


He has also authored and co-authored a number of bestselling programming books for Que Corporation, and led industry think-tanks, user groups, and leading-edge Silicon Valley technology companies.

With nearly 25 years of experience in the field, Dana leads the Vortx team with a passion for excellence in technical innovation and in customer service. "I cut my teeth in production software environments at Borland, Novell, and Microsoft, then found an even greater passion in producing highly customized solutions for those whose business needs do not fit inside the shrink-wrapped box." Dana says.



Jo Stewart

Jo Benson, COO

Jo worked for IBM United Kingdom from 1977 to 1985, following which she owned and ran a Country House Hotel in the English Cotswolds until 1994. She then founded and built a software company (specializing in recipes) to its sale in 1997 and immediately opened an early-entry online European travel company which sold in 2005. She has a history of successful entrepreneurial activity in startup software companies.

Within Vortx, Jo manages the United Kingdom office. She is deeply involved in the strategic planning for the UK headquarters, the implementation of the resulting plans and the smooth-running of day-to-day operations. Outside of her professional and commercial activities, Jo has authored a series of parenting books, has won several international culinary competitions and loves literature and gardening.



Nigel Davies

Nigel Davies, Vice President

For the past 25 years Nigel has held leadership positions in multi-national organizations such as British Aerospace, Computer Science Corporation, HK Systems, Delphion and CDC Software, with responsibilities for the definition, creation and delivery of flexible and tailored solutions for e-commerce, intellectual property management and supply chain execution in Europe, USA and Asia.


As a member of the Open Application Group executive board for the past 10 years , including 3 years as its elected chair, he has worked with Intel, Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, Infor and IBM to help establish XML-based integration standards for e-commerce, finance, supply chain and enterprise integration.


“My passion is to use technology to solve real world problems in a manner that allow a business to execute and grow. My desire to engage with users has allowed me to help push the boundaries of what is possible. This is how I engage every day with Vortx clients to ensure their online success,” Nigel says.
