What is a skin?
A skin is comprised of one or two "templates" with a cascading style sheet to control the look and feel of your storefront. These templates determine a framework around the site's main content area where categories, products, the cart, and other information will be displayed. Common template elements are logos, headers, horizontal and vertical navigation, footers, search, and an optional "home" or "splash" page that is your store's landing page.

The Starter Skin Package
Site elements included in the Starter Skin:
- Header: The header generally includes your store logo, and account relevant links.
- Horizontal Navigation: The horizontal navigation includes your categories and subcategories.
- 2nd level Menu with Search Bar: This may include your site's search function, your store telephone/contact information, and any other store specific information.
- Vertical Navigation: The available vertical navigation styles (Simple Vertical and Expandable Tree). Either of these styles can be implemented with the Starter Skin Package.
- Footer: This includes store links not placed elsewhere on the site. Examples: FAQ, About Us, Terms & Conditions
Skin Add-Ons:
The items below can be added to the Starter Skin package at an additional cost.
Home Page
Your home page is very important and deserves special attention. We're happy to
design and skin the home page template to your specifications, but because of the
variety of design and feature options, we need to understand your vision before
providing a cost estimate. Please contact us to schedule
a consultation.
Custom Navigation
We can design and implement a navigational style that works better for your store and your customers than the default navigations provided by ASPDNSF. Examples include Accordion navigation, Flyout Menu, Scrollable menu.
Custom Category Pages
We can customize the look and feel of your Category pages so that your products and subcategories display just as you want them to.
Custom Product Pages
We can customize the look and feel of your Product pages so that they display just as you want them to. This includes variant/attribute display.
Custom Topic Pages
We can design and skin your Topics pages to be consistent with the rest of the site design. Topics pages examples: Contact Us, About Us, Privacy Policy, etc.
Receipts & Order Confirmations
We can design and skin the receipts and order confirmations sent by the store to your customers to be consistent with the rest of the site design.
MiniCart
Customize the look and feel of the default mini-cart to match the rest of your site.
New Navigational Structure
We can assess your current site's structure, i.e. main categories, subcategories, etc. and make recommendations on a structure that might work better for your customers. Not necessarily part of a skin, but certainly worth considering as you create your new site. These prices will vary depending on the number of pages in your site. Custom Buttons
Change the default buttons to your own design to match your site's skin. Buttons include: Add to Cart, Add to WishList, Checkout, Continue Shopping, Place Order, Create Account, Login, Address Book tabs, etc.
Custom Checkout Progress Bar
Customize the design of the default Progress Bar that appears at the top of the page during checkout. This does not include changing the map coordinates of the image.
